If you are new to the air fryer I have so many delicious and easy recipes. I would definitely check out the How To Use An Air Fryer post first to get acclimated with cooking times and techniques.
One of the simplest ways to use the air fryer is to cook vegetables. Corn on the cob is my kids favorite air fryer vegetable. Let’s make this easy and delicious recipe!
Prep The Corn:
First things first you will want to prep the corn by removing the husk and silk. This is important because no one wants stings of silk in their teeth when eating corn. You will want to remove that.
After you clean the corn you can then cut them down to a desired size if needed. For small kids I like to cut the corn in half or sometimes in quarters if the corn cobs are really large.
Now you are ready to make the corn. All you need to do is figure out what delicious compound butter you want to serve with it.
Ways To Serve Air Fryer Corn on The Cob:
My favorite way to make corn on the cob is cooked in the air fryer and then topped with a delicious and flavorful compound butter.
Compound butter is basically a butter that has been flavored with other ingredients. Usually herbs, spices or seasonings.
Flavored butter goes well on just about anything! I love to use it to top steak, vegetables or bread.
One of my favorite compound butters is my Strawberry Compound Butter. Serve it on warm homemade biscuits and you have a delicious side.
Here are some other compound butter ideas that you can use to top your air fryer corn on the cob. Top the corn right when it comes out of the air fryer so that the butter can melt into all the crevasses of the corn.
