I am such a huge fan of air fryer broccoli. It’s actually the thing I probably make the most in my air fryer. The broccoli gets crispy and caramelized and you can basically top it with any flavorings or seasonings you like. The kids even love it!

Before my air fryer, my go to method for cooking broccoli was in the oven. I loved perfectly roasted broccoli for a side dish. It’s a simple, healthy and delicious side dish.
Now it’s definitely air fried broccoli. The broccoli florets get tossed in some olive oil and placed in the air fryer basket with the crisper plate. It only takes around 10 minutes to make from start to finish and you got yourself a delicious, healthy side dish.

Broccoli is one of those vegetables that hold up to strong flavors. You can make this air fryer broccoli recipe in a variety of ways.
Just follow the basic directions and then toss them with these options after they are finished cooking.

Ingredients For Air Fryer Roasted Broccoli:
You only need a few ingredients to make this recipe. Keep in mind you can always add your flavor boosts at the end of the cooking process (listed above).
The basic ingredients you will need are as follows:
- Broccoli florets
- Olive oil or avocado oil
- Kosher salt
- Black pepper
Can I Use Frozen Broccoli?
You can use frozen broccoli. I just recommend trying to get as much moisture out as possible to get a nice crispy broccoli.
To ensure they crisp up nicely, run the frozen broccoli under some warm water. Then place in a clean kitchen towel. Press the broccoli in between another kitchen towel and press down to remove excess liquid.
Then follow the directions below.
How to Make Air Fryer Broccoli:
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 teaspoons avocado oil or olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional toppings
- Preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes. Cut the broccoli into small florets.
- Toss with avocado oil, salt and pepper. Place in the air fryer.
- Cook on air fry at 390 F for 10 minutes.
- Shake halfway through.
