Greek Yogurt:

Greek yogurt is a delicious and healthy ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, from savory to sweet.

It makes for a delicious frozen yogurt or as a healthier substitute in dessert recipes like coffee cakes or bundt cakes.

One of the best ways to enjoy this creamy yogurt is in a dessert. This Greek yogurt dessert with orange and honey is a perfect example of how versatile and delicious Greek yogurt can be.

Greek Yogurt Dessert Ingredients:

To start, you will need the following ingredients:

Greek yogurt: I prefer using plain Greek yogurt for a sugar free option. You can also use full fat greek yogurt, labne (which has a sour cream consistency), or try my homemade Easy Instant Pot Yogurt With Flavor Variations.

Orange: my favorite oranges to use for this recipe is Cara Cara oranges. If you can’t find them you can use blood oranges or Naval oranges.

Cinnamon: the ground cinnamon adds a delicious warm flavor.

Candied Pecans: I buy my candied pecans at Trader Joe’s. You can also use regular toasted pecans or pistachios work great too.

Honey: use a good quality honey or you can also use maple syrup for sweetness.

How To Make 5 Minute Greek Yogurt Dessert:

Make Ahead:

You can make this dessert ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours before serving.

Prep the orange segments and store in an air tight container.

When you are ready to serve assemble everything together and enjoy.

What Kind Of Greek Yogurt To Use:

This Greek yogurt dessert with orange and honey is a light and refreshing dessert. It is perfect for warm weather or any time you want a sweet treat that won’t weigh you down.

The tangy Greek yogurt pairs perfectly with the sweet honey and juicy orange segments, while the crunchy candied pecans add a nice texture and nutty flavor.

Not only is this dessert delicious, but it’s also packed with nutrients.

Greek yogurt is high in protein, which makes it a great option for a post-workout snack or a healthy breakfast.

Oranges are a good source of vitamin C, which is important for immune system health, while pecans are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants.
