Delicious gluten free and dairy free teriyaki beef stir fry is a way to get dinner on the table affordably and quick.
- 2 cups rice
- 2/3 cup Bragg aminos
- 2/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
- 2 teaspoons corn starch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced thin, (pat dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture)
- 12 ounces broccoli, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 cups mini bell peppers, sliced thin
- Optional garnish sesame seeds
- Cook your rice according to package directions.
- When the rice is cooking make the homeade teriyaki by combining the braggs, water, brown sugar, ginger and cornstarch mixed with water into a saucepan and heat over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- Preheat a large skillet over high heat. When the pan is hot but not smoking add the oil and steak.
- Sear the steak on both sides for 3-4 minutes.
- When the steak is seared add the broccoli and bell pepper. Stir in the homemade teriyaki sauce and cover the pan with a lid for 3 minutes.
- Serve the stir fry over the cooked rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
