Ingredients You Need:

Can you believe you only need 5 ingredients for these drumstick ice cream cones. Here is what you need to make them!

Sugar Cones: You can also use cake cones for a fun and different twist.

Vanilla Ice Cream: My kids love the stereotypical vanilla ice cream, but feel free to change it up with your favorite ice cream flavors. You can also fill them with different ice cream flavors to go along with different holidays. A family favorite is pumpkin ice cream with white chocolate candy melts for Thanksgiving or peppermint ice cream with red candy melts for Christmas.

White Candy Melts: If you can’t find candy melts you can also use white chocolate or dark chocolate. Add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil if you need to use chocolate. This will create the chocolate shell texture.

Multicolored Sprinkles: This is another place where you can get creative and use colored sprinkles to go along with holidays or even birthday parties.

Pop Rocks Candy: Pop rocks add a fun and exciting element to the drumstick cones. My kids call them fireworks in their mouths! It’s the perfect addition for Fourth of July.

How To Make Drumstick Ice Cream Cones With Pop Rocks:

Now let’s jump into the recipe portion! Follow these simple steps to make your drumstick ice cream cones.

If you have trouble coating the ice cream with the melted candy melts spoon the melted candy over the ice cream instead of dipping. Sometimes the candy melts can harden which can make it difficult to coat the ice cream.
