Caprese Flatbread

I don’t know about you but 10 minute meals save me multiple times a week, especially with this 10 minute caprese flatbread.

Caprese flatbread is perfect for a 10 minute dinner for a delicious quick and easy appetizer. Change up the toppings for a fun flatbread bar for company or serve with a big salad like my Orzo Pasta Salad With Roasted Vegetables for a delicious vegetarian dinner.

Here is what you need to make this easy delicious 10 minute dinner!

Ingredients For Caprese Flatbread:

Flatbread Or focaccia bread: I love the store bought cheese focaccia at Trader Joe’s for this recipe. The cheese adds some extra flavor and it’s one less item you have to buy. Some other options that would work great are olive focaccia, or any type of flatbread. Even naan bread would work great!

Arugula: Arugula is one of my favorite greens. It adds a little pepperiness and vibrant green to the flatbread.

Heirloom tomatoes: Heirloom tomatoes are so much more flavorful than any other tomatoes in my opinion. You can buy large tomatoes and cut them into wedges or dice them or buy the mini heirlooms and cut them in half. The different colors of the fresh tomato add so much beauty to the dish.

Burrata cheese: Burrata cheese is soft cream centered cows milk cheese made in Italy. It adds a delicious creaminess to the dish. You can substitute fresh mozzarella cheese if you can’t find it.

Balsamic glaze: The drizzle of balsamic glaze adds a delicious tangy sweetness to the caprese flatbread. I buy it at Trader Joe’s, but you can also find it now in many grocery stores.

Fresh Basil: Totally optional, but adding some fresh basil just makes these flatbreads even better!
